Ways to wear chalkstripe

Ways to wear chalkstripe
Over the next few weeks, working with our friends Vitale Barberis Canonico, we will select some popular flannel cloths and take a fresh look at some of our old favourites. We will make suggestions as to how to wear your chalkstripe, grey flannel or windowpane check suit in a variety of ways and for a variety of occasions.

The first cloth is a mid-grey chalkstripe 11oz flannel from the Drapers Vitale Barberis Canonico bunch which is held at our bespoke shop. Chalkstripe feels less formal than a pinstripe. It is softer, more playful and easy to wear with a fine polo neck or with a fresh white cotton shirt, with our without a tie. We have selected clothing and accessories for wearing your suit at the office, at the studio or at dinner in the autumn, winter or spring.

We are great fans of the mill, established in 1663 in Prativero in the Biela region of Italy, and admire their incredible heritage, commitment to sustainable practices and family values.
